Top Ten Publications of 2023

Hands holding a bunch of tomatoes.

Over the last year, we added hundreds of new publications to the FinDev Gateway libraries in English, French, Spanish and Arabic. Which ones were the most popular among our readers? This blog post shares the top ten most viewed publications of 2023 from our English library of resources on financial inclusion. The themes of gender, climate change and digital finance dominate the list.

FinEquity, the community of practice on women's financial inclusion which is hosted on FinDev, has been very active in sharing knowledge, and two of their publications are featured in the top ten, as well as a guide to Women's World Banking's women-centered design methodology. The intersection of climate change and financial inclusion is explored from the perspective of financial service providers and their clients, regulators and microinsurance providers. And publications on digital finance highlight the consumer protection risks involved, as well as the potential for achieving progress toward the sustainable development goals.

Was there a publication that had a significant impact on you and your work over the past year? Please share it with us in the comments. And as always, we thank you for sharing your work with the global financial inclusion community and invite you to continue doing so as we start the new year. Happy reading!
