About the Client Targeting Centre

CGAP’s Client Targeting Centre has been designed as a Resource Centre for MFIs and those who are interested in ensuring a greater depth of microfinance outreach to ever increasing numbers of poor people. • The CGAP Poverty Assessment Tool (PAT) section provides information on a rigorous statistical technique developed by CGAP to assess the relative poverty level of MFI clients. The section also includes empirical findings of poverty assessments of MFIs conducted by the PAT.
  • The MFI Experiences section contains information on the targeting methods and the targeting experiences of about 30 MFIs from different parts of the world.
  • The Documents section has links to directly relevant documents, and is constantly growing. Almost all the documents are available for download, and you can also post your documents.
