Banex was established as a microfinance NGO called FINDESA. In 2002, it became a regulated financial institution and in 2008 acquired a banking license, becoming Banex (Banco del Exito).
The sixth largest financial institution in Nicaragua, Banex’s mission is to become the best bank in the country, providing services to micro, small, medium and large enterprises while adhering to the principles of social responsibility. Banex has designed a variety of products adapted to the needs of the sector: revolving lines of credit, personal loans, industrial loans and agricultural loans.
