AdanaMamaki, established in 2008 by Mrs. Edna Ishaya, a professional with knowledge of microfinance practice and regulation, is a combination of two words from Hausa - a prominent language in West Africa. Adana is a place that is safe to secure precious possessions; Mamaki is imagination or creativity.
AdanaMamaki strives to become a safe and secure place for knowledge repository on all aspects of microfinance and further provide creative solutions to its clients in Nigeria. Its mission is to ensure efficient and effective corporate governance of MFIs, philanthropic organizations, and corporate citizenship programs. It offers capacity building for senior executives and directors of microfinance banks/institutions.
