Brooklyn Cooperative Federal Credit Union (Brooklyn Cooperative FCU) is a certified community development financial institution (CDFI) established in 2001 that serves the highly distressed neighborhoods of Bedford Stuyvesant and Bushwick in Brooklyn. The organization's mission is to support the economic development of neighborhoods through consumer, business, and home loans and core financial services. Brooklyn Cooperative is also helping to revitalize Bushwick and Bedford-Stuyvesant, two of the most under-banked neighborhoods in New York City.
