The World Savings Banks Institute (WSBI) is one of the largest international banking associations and the only global representative of savings and retail banks. It carries the voice of around 1150 financial intermediaries in nearly 90 countries.

The WSBI is an independent non-governmental organisation. It disseminates information, organizes training and exchanges of experience and encourages savings banks to participate in development projects launched by international financial institutions.
