West Company is a nonprofit economic development organization serving entrepreneurs and microbusiness owners in Northern California. Through business training and consulting programs, West Company assists clients in the development of a business plan for both start-up and expansion purposes. Its mission is to assist local microbusinesses to grow, creating self-sufficiency and wealth in the communities.

West Company provides free services to low-income entrepreneurs through private and government funding. It specializes in assisting small businesses with five or few employees (microenterprises). This is done through workshops and one-one consulting on a variety of business topics such as marketing, finances and management. Services are offered in English and Spanish.
