It helps people out of poverty through microfinance which includes basic financial services - small loans, savings accounts, fund transfers and insurance.Loans as small as $100 help people in poverty start or grow their own small business. This enables them to earn an income so they can afford food, clean water, proper shelter and an education for their children. With more than 40 years’ experience working with the poor, Opportunity is a provider and pioneer of socially focused microfinance and support services.
