Opportunities Industrialization Centers International (OIC International) is a non-profit organization headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Since 1970, OIC International has trained socially and economically underprivileged women, men and youth in the skills they need to transform their lives and their communities.OIC International’s mission is to empower individuals to become self-reliant through holistic training in skills development using a de-centralized network of social entrepreneurs and community leaders. Our programs in Workforce Development and Livelihood Enhancement aim to develop self-reliant individuals and healthy communities. We place special emphasis on our work with women-farmers, as a key to sustainable development in rural communities.Specific areas of intervention that OIC International has the expertise to implement include:
