Mercy Corps' Program in Indonesia seeks to improve food security through integrated projects such as food for work, food distributions, grants and institutional development of local NGOs. Mercy Corps support the building of civil society in the context of its activities by applying the principles of civil society, including citizen participation, transparency and accountability of transactions and decisions, strengthening of linkages between civil society actors, and peaceful change process.
