The Lakota Funds is a community development organization that actively promotes the socioeconomic sustainability of the Oglala Lakota Oyate (people) on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. Its culturally appropriate strategies include business loans, technical assistance, and targeted community and business development. It is the first and only financial development institution on the entire reservation. The Lakota Funds is a certified Native American Community Development Financial Institution.
