The STEP program is part of the Social Security Policy and Development Branch of the ILO Social Protection Sector. It is active in two interdependent thematic areas: the extension of social protection to the excluded and integrated approaches to social inclusion. STEP also draws on the experience of national experts and works with universities and research centres.
