| Idea Builders was founded in 2003 as a not-for-profit initiative dedicated to improving the lives of the rural and urban poor. It currently operates out of 2 locations with the head office in Lagos, Nigeria and the lead project office in ABIA state. Its microenterprise development program aims to incubate microenterprise initiatives from both community-based cooperatives and individual rural entrepreneurs; to promote local food production as a means to build economic self-reliance and increase the standard of living in underserved communities; and to stimulate and develop the production of commercially viable products. | |
