ECI Africa is an international economic development consultancy and capacity building organization. Founded in 1994, it is a partly owned subsidiary of DAI, an international development consultancy based in Washington, DC and has three main operating divisions:

• Agribusiness and rural development;
• Enterprise development;
• Public administration.

Through these, it has been engaged in wide variety of short and long term projects providing services in the fields of: small, medium and micro enterprise (SMME) sector development; development and micro finance; economic research; policy reform; trade and investment promotion; business linkages; and public sector management. Services provided include institutional assessments, productivity audits, feasibility studies, strategic and business plans, research studies, fund raising, project design and implementation, project management, transaction facilitation, and monitoring and evaluation.
