Center for Development Alternatives (CFDA), established in 1990, is an academic research Centre in India that has acquired credibility as a serious research center in Development Studies. Its mission is to work for promoting human centered development by exploring and communicating alternatives through research, dialogues, seminars and publications, and by undertaking policy advocacy as well as supporting efforts of like minded institutions.
CFAD also facilitates the development process benefiting the marginalized [poor and women] by providing capacity building inputs and support services.
