Centre for Microfinance and Enterprise Development (CEMIDE) was established in 1997 in response to the need to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of service delivery system of MFIs. Current activities of the company through CEMIDE include training in microfinance, business and entrepreneurial skills development and consultancy in microfinance related services (programme design, development of operations manual, programme evaluations, product development, market research, and business planning for microfinance and other microfinance related activities. CEMIDE vision is to be leaders in microfinance, banking and entrepreneurship training and education on the local and regional levels.
