Centre for Micro-Finance (CMF)'s mission is promoting and strengthening microfinance services through capacity building, training, knowledge management, research, policy lobbying, consultancy and networking with mutual trust & cooperation among services receivers, practitioners and stakeholders. CMF's goal is to:

• Strengthen MFIs serving the poor especially focused on women & excluded groups;
• Enhance service delivery capacity of development partners promoting the microfinance sector. 

The CMF's major activities include providing trainings, technical assistance and consultancy services. It also includes undertaking studies and research, documentation and publications. CMF has a wide internal network with all major microfinance actors of Nepal and has established a network with international organizations. In collaboration with its partners in the region CMF has also been co-coordinating various activities at the regional level.
