Cordaid combines more than 90 years’ experience and expertise in emergency aid and structural poverty eradication. Its counterpart organizations work on various themes, including participation, emergency aid and reconstruction, health and well-being and entrepreneurship. Cordaid has a network of almost a thousand partner organizations in 36 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

Cordaid focuses on four thematic areas: participation, emergency aid and reconstruction, health and well-being, and entrepreneurship. It supports local organizations and their projects financially and with regard to drawing up policy. Cordaid is affiliated with Caritas Internationalis, a worldwide network of Catholic organizations that provide emergency relief. Within this framework we assign personnel to humanitarian crises.
