The Boulder Institute of Microfinance is a nonprofit organization founded in 2004 to create a platform for dialogue and critical thinking in microfinance. The Institute currently offers three renowned Microfinance Training Programs in English, French and Spanish throughout the year. Building on 17 years of experience, the Institute’s reputation is grounded in a multidisciplinary and international faculty base composed of academics and professionals from the industry’s leading institutions. Many faculty members have and presently hold important public and private sector positions thereby facilitating their direct participation in the development of microfinance with an explicit focus on long-term sustainable solutions as they apply to financial inclusion for the world’s poor.
The Boulder Institute aims to create special spaces to discuss and analyze emerging trends while at the same time delivering the tools and techniques that will advance each and every participant’s institutions as well as the industry at large.
