Established in 1991, AGRO is a registered NGO that works on issues related to land development, environment, microcredit, health and integrated community development. The aim of AGRO is to select the most poor wasteland holders through baseline survey; to train these wasteland holders in selection of suitable forestry species, nursery practices, soil & water conservation activities; planting and maintenance; agro-forestry methods, group formation; and group functioning, group management for their programs.
