Accion Empresarial is a division of MultiCredit Bank, a commercial bank founded in 1990 in Panama and started operations as part of Panama’s banking community. Soon after opening its doors, Multi Credit Bank launched the Acción Empresarial microenterprise program in 1991. Accion Empresarial was set up as a bank subsidiary, rather than as a separate institution, and focuses on the micro and small enterprise business market in Panama.
