Womens Empowerment & Micro Credit Services (“WEMCS”) is registered under Section 25 in the state of Bihar with head office in Patna. WEMCS has started micro credit operations in May 2008. It is dedicated to providing financial services for rural/urban/semi urban population, including the poor women on a commercially sustainable basis and is focusing on to provide microfinance and allied services to rural/ urban & semi urban areas in Bihar and eastern part of the country. WEMCS mission is to promote a large number of livelihoods among the under-privileged communities with special focus on women through means of financial services and promotion of sustainable livelihood-oriented skills. Services and products include:

• Income Generating Loan (IGL);
• The Emergency Loan (EL);
• Insurance.
