| Roshan Vikas Foundation was established in 2006 by people with rich experience in microcredit, organisation development, livelihood promotion and social intermediation. RVF promotes community-owned and managed financial institutions in urban areas with a credit-plus approach i.e. savings + credit + livelihood development + empowerment of women. Currently, it is engaged in strengthening Roshan Vikas and Mahila Sanatkar cooperatives in Hyderabad. It works with predominantly Muslim families in impoverished slums of Hyderabad. | |
