JAIDA is a private fund aimed at the refinancing of microfinance institutions in Morocco. It is set-up as a limited company, and is registered with the Bank al-Maghrib (the Moroccan central bank) as a non-bank financial institution. Its mission consists in the refinancing of microfinance institutions in Morocco to promote the financing of micro-enterprises. In this way, it contributes to the alleviation of poverty.

The principal objectives of JAIDA include facilitating the refinancing of microfinancing institutions with a focus on small and medium sized institutions; leveraging private capital, and thus drain private capital into the microfinance sector; and supporting the institutional development of microfinance institutions. JAÏDA offers products that are well adapted to the needs of the microfinance sector in Morocco, at this stage of its development. In addition, the Fund JAIDA also acts as a platform for the harmonization of national and international stakeholders in the Moroccan microfinance sector.
