CRESA is an NGO-MFI that operates in the Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, India, and has been providing loans to Self Help Groups since the late 1990s. Its lending approach is based on the Grameen method. It also links these groups to banks. In addition, it is involved in a host of "credit plus" activities and has been organizing medical check-ups, distributing medicines, organizing eye camps, and conducting health education seminars for its clients.
