Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD) was established in 2005 as a non-profit organization (NGO) registered in Pakistan under Trust Act 1882 (Registration No.5578). Since the calamity of earthquake 2005, HHRD is operational as a humanitarian relief and development organization responding to human sufferings in emergency and disaster situations regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, class, location, religion, color, cultural diversity and social background; with special focus in the areas where the massive population is living below the poverty line. Under one of its flagship program, HHRD facilitates and supports livelihood opportunities and micro enterprise development for poverty alleviation through provision of interest free microfinance.
