Samaritan Mission Foundation (SMF) is based on the Biblical mandate "If you lend money to My people, to the poor among you, do not act towards them as a creditor; exact no interest from them." (Exodus 22:24). SMF is Ghana’s first Non Governmental Organization that provides interest-free loan to clients in need. The objectives include:

• To provide interest free microfinance services to poor families and low income earners enabling them to become self reliant;
• To promote interest free lending as a viable model and a broad-based solution for poverty alleviation;
• To provide capacity building and entrepreneurial training to micro entrepreneurs;
• To institutionalize the spirit of unity, compassion, and volunteerism;
• To transform SMF borrowers into donors;
• To make SMF a sustainable, growth-oriented and replicable organization.
