SWAWS, a registered Society and a MFI, was established in 1999 with a aim of promoting education among girls who belong to the economically weaker section of society. Continuing with the mission of empowering women and providing support to low-income households, SWAWS started the microfinance program. To give the financial intermediation a better structure, SWAWS acquired an NBFC and transferred its microfinance program to the NBFC – SCCI (P) LTD. Its mission is to improve the quality of life of our clients through provision of responsive and efficient financial services as per international best practices and transparency, while maximizing stake holder’s value.
