It is one of the leading business schools in Latin America and was founded in 1964 under the guidance of the Harvard University Business School. INCAE’s mission is to contribute to the sustainable development of countries through the education of leaders of their key sectors, thus impacting their practices, attitudes and values through academic research, teaching, knowledge dissemination, and the promotion of dialogue between individuals, sectors, and countries.

CLACDS, the Latin American Center for Competitiveness and Sustainable Development, was established in 1996 as an applied research center within INCAE. It promotes changes in public policies, business strategies and social actions through political neutrality and dialogue as a means of helping the region improve its competitiveness and sustainable development.

INCAE is the Microfinance Gateway's content management partner for the Portal de Microfinanzas, its Spanish-language affiliate site.
