CARE UK Launches Microfinance Website

CARE International UK has launched the initiative www.lendwithcare.org, a  website through which the public provides funding to CARE’s partner microfinance institutions. The website’s mission is to raise money to assist individuals in the developing world reach economic independence by providing loans to start or improve small businesses.

Currently, loans can be provided to entrepreneurs in Togo and Benin and Indonesia because CARE has long established working relationships with the MFIs in these countries. Moving forward, CARE intends to bring more countries on board.
