The Doen Foundation was established in 1991 by the Dutch Postcode Lottery to finance small projects worldwide. Since 1994, DOEN Foundation and Triodos Bank have been involved in a partnership - the Triodos-Doen Foundation - with the aim of supporting small entrepreneurs in developing countries so that they are able to start up or expand their businesses. DOEN provides loans, bank guarantees or equity on a case-by-case basis.
