About the Job:
The Financial Systems Learning Manager manages the activities involved in the design, preparation, delivery and need assessment associated with the learning plan for FHI360 global enterprise financial systems. This position also manages internal or external consulting work as required as well as related budget.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
As part of the Corporate Finance team, manage the activities involved in the design, preparation, delivery and need assessment associated with the learning plan for the organization's global enterprise financial systems and financial management. Develop and/or approve content, methods, and materials for training staff;
Develop methods for evaluation of program effectiveness;
Identify trends and gaps within the organization to conceptualize, develop and deliver learning programs including coaching, job experience, mentoring, and formal learning events in live, virtual and electronic formats;
Serve as the main liaison with management, content experts, learning specialist and end users. Also manage internal or external consulting work as required as well as related budget;
Identify competency gaps and appropriate learning approaches for employees domestically and internationally in reference to financial management and the organization's enterprise financial system;
Develop a holistic learning strategy for Finance, that is consistent with the organization's learning systems and practices, and incorporating/organizing existing training modules and materials where appropriate;
Integrate a financial component (financial management systems, processes and best practices) into the current new hire learning programs;
Track, manage, monitor, and report on finance systems and finance management related learning in collaboration with Learning and Development (L+D) organization wide tracking and reporting and other Corporate Finance departments;
Collaborate with all Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the authoring of learning objects which might take many forms: coaching, mentoring, on the job training, presentations, participant guides, workflows, check lists, online objects, virtual experiences and live interactive exercises;
Manage the enterprise financial system project communication/awareness plan;
Design, manage and deliver project updates globally;
Hire, develop, and manage a community of finance learning designers and implementers globally;
Manage relationship with internal and external groups. Ensure that project status, risks, issues and opportunities are appropriately communicated and handled;
Liaise and collaborate with the Learning and Development team on design and methodology;
Liaise and collaborate with Corporate Finance, Platform and Portfolio Management (PPM) and Business Unit/Regional Office finance staff to identify learning opportunities;
Assist with developing communications and roll-out plans for new or changed financial processes and procedures.
Manage e-learning programs;
Collaborate with L+D and/or develop methods for gathering data to identify trends, analyze methodologies and evaluate learning performance results using internal tools and platforms.
Use assessment results to inform learning methods and priority decisions;
Research trends and innovations and remain current with developments, new techniques and technology in the field of learning by attending seminars, courses, professional organization meeting, reading current professional literature and viewing appropriate computer information sites;
Develop annual budget and forecast and monitors learning events costs to ensure budget compliance.
Bachelor’s degree or its international equivalent in Instructional systems, Education, Business, Finance or related field and at least five to eight (5 - 8) years of project financial management and training experience;
Experience training on ERP financial systems for at least five (5) +years;
Strong Project Management skills;
Demonstrated experience with adult learning principles, methodologies, and design tools;
Experience in instructional design and technical documentation within a global enterprise environment;
Experience creating e-learning modules;
Experience with Deltek products preferred;
Experience developing a global learning strategy as well as communication/awareness program for a global enterprise wide training roll out;
Articulate, professional and able to communicate in a clear, positive manner with client and staff;
Prior experience with international or cross cultural context is strongly preferred;
Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
